ASL Airlines France announces the launch of a direct air service between Saint-Etienne Loire airport and Béjaïa.
With this new route, ASL Airlines France is extending its network of destinations to Algeria, and strengthening its presence on the Algerian market in response to the need for mobility between France and Algeria, and to strong demand from the Algerian community living in Saint-Etienne. This demand for flights to Béjaïa was identified in a study carried out by the company in conjunction with Saint-Etienne Loire airport.
The direct connection between Saint-Etienne Loire airport and Bejaïa will mean that travelers won’t have to go via Lyon or Algiers to reach Bejaïa and the surrounding region.
It will provide travel opportunities for families and professionals, and facilitate economic, cultural and tourist exchanges between the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and Algeria.
Specializing in services to Algeria since 2017, ASL Airlines France is now a major operator on this destination and :
– one of the airlines serving the largest number of airports in Algeria from France.
– which, in collaboration with its partner Soleil Voyages and travel agencies in Algeria, has the largest network of sales outlets in the country.
– the only French airline to fly to Algeria from Paris’s two main airports: Charles de Gaulle and Orly.
What’s more, by inaugurating the Bejaïa route, ASL Airlines France is operating scheduled flights from Saint-Etienne Loire airport for the first time.

Flights will be operated during the summer school vacations, every Sunday from July 6 to September 7, 2025.
Departure from Béjaïa at 12:35pm, arrival at Saint-Etienne at 2:20pm (1h45 flight time)
Departure from Saint-Etienne at 3:20 pm, arrival in Béjaïa at 5:00 pm (1h40 flight time)
