Discovering Setif
The capital of the Wilaya of Sétif, Sétif is situated in north-east Algeria and is one of the country’s most important cities, considered to be the commercial capital.
Rich in monuments, come and visit the Ain El Fouara and Ain Droudj fountains, the Sid El Khier mausoleum, the tomb of Scipio the African, the Islamic rampart and watchtower, the Byzantine wall, the El Atik, Birguey, Ben Badis, El Bachir El Ibrahimi and Bilal Ben Rabah mosques.
The National Museum of Archaeology and the Sidi El Khier cemetery are also well worth a visit.
The city also has a number of gardens to discover, including the Reffaoui ex-Baral garden, the Emir Abdelkader garden, the Chellal garden and the Zenadia forest.
